I want to suit up my entire family in Elmo costumes this year; I keep seeing the new Tickle Me Elmo toy on TV and think it's so cute...
I have found Elmo costumes to buy online, but am wondering if anyone has ideas for making Elmo costumes for adults and children? Sewing the body part is easy, but it's Elmo's head that makes him so recognizable. Maybe an Elmo mask? Any ideas for making an Elmo head? Thx.
If I were you, I'd make the Elmo costume body out of some furry red material. For the Elmo mask, you don't need to cover the whole head. You can get Elmo paper plates, poke out eye holes and string some elastic around your head. I think there is also Elmo note paper (not sure how big it is), where you could do the same thing. Hope that's a useful suggestion! :)
